On fire card protector

A card protector is a unique and often personal item that is placed on top of your hole cards. It protects your cards from being picked up by the dealer. Of course, each player is responsible for his or her hole cards at all times. If the dealer accidentally picks up or mucks your cards, it is your own fault for not protecting them.
