Mike Sexton is a legend in the poker world. In a lifetime of over forty years as a poker professional, both at the table and in the business side of poker. He is a WSOP winner, helped found PartyPoker in 2001 and was a key player in an event that changed the poker world forever. This was the start of the World Poker Tour (WPT) in 2002. He has been a commentator for the WPT along with Vince van Patten since its inception. In addition, Mike was recognized as a top ambassador at the Card Player Magazine Player of the Year Awards gala in 2006. That same year he won the WSOP Tournament of Champions, taking home $1 million in prize money. He donated half of this to charity. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2009. A "Must read" for the Mike Sexton fan!
I have read many books about poker in my life and this one is definitely in the top 3! What a great book!
Mike is one of the greatest ambassadors known to poker and has been playing it almost his entire life. He is also known as a legendary storyteller, which is certainly reflected in this book! It certainly does not disappoint. These are stories you want to keep reading, what a great book. I laughed out loud a few times on my own, that's how good it is.
If you are a fan of the game and/or Saxton, this book is for you! BUY this BOOK, you will not regret it!
