ABS Poker chips / Poker chips for beginners
A bit more expensive than the plastic poker chips are the ABS Poker chips. ABS stands for Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene. The material has the following properties: solid, hard, long life, high melting temperature, easy to inject, electrically insulating, paintable and metalizing and a high resistance to chemicals.Â
The ABS poker chips are cheap and generally of a pretty good quality. The chips are weighted plastic poker chips. An ABS poker chip generally weighs 11.5 grams, this is due to a piece of metal on the inside.Â
